Meet Our Associate Pastor
Prophetess Karen Brown was born in Laurel, Mississippi and raised Lake Charles, Louisiana. Her parents are Loreanner Arrington and Hilmer Brown. She received an international education as she traveled extensively with her father, a member of the United States Army. She is married to Gregory Brown and is the mother of six wonderful children, Mario (29), Sydney (23), Dionna (19), Kennedy (15), Alex (13), and Israel (7).
Prophetess Brown followed in the footsteps of her father and joined the United States Army after receiving a BS in Biology/Life Studies from Kansas State University. She retired from the United States Army as a First Sergeant in 2015, after having served 26 years as a Combat Medic. Her educational achievements include an MA in Forensic Psychology and ongoing work on an MA in Theology. She holds a PhD. in international Psychology. Her many assignments took her all over the world but her greatest assignment was to accept her calling to teach the Word of God in 1999.
Prophetess Brown began her life in ministry and was licensed and ordained under Bishop Richard B. Peoples of Faith Outreach Christian Life Center located in Hephzibah, Georgia. She was ordained as an Elder by Pastors Mickey and Caprice Law from New Beginnings Revival Center-Hawaii under the leadership of Apostle Dan Biggs from New Beginnings Revival Center-Waynesboro, Missouri. She currently worships at Praise, Power, and Compassion Ministries where she serves under Pastors Darrell and Lula Coleman in Crestview, Florida. She operates as a Minister on the Intercessory Prayer team, the Praise and Worship team, the PPC and Senior Choirs, and as a Sunday School teacher in the educational department. Prophetess Brown serves at Destiny Worship Center as an Associate Pastor. She is an anointed Prayer Warrior who believes that with Faith, anything is possible.
